Soon to be here Baby makes three!

Time really does fly once you get about half way through your first trimester. I am officially 21 weeks old and cannot wait for our new little man to arrive! I will admit I am a bit concerned with how Chunk will react, him being the baby and all, he is very attached. I do know that he will be perfectly fine once he gets used to the idea when Baby 3 makes his debut. Spank, on the other hand, cannot wait for his smallest baby brother to arrive! With every doctors appointment I return from Spank is asking me if the Doctors have gotten the baby out, and where is it? Why didn't I bring him home with me? He is extremely anxious to see this little guy, Which is a huge relief for me. For the entire first trimester all he did was tell people he was excited to be getting a baby sister, we prepped him for the possibility of it being another brother, but he just kept telling us he already had a brother and needed a sister now. So, we are both excited to see he has warmed up to the idea of having two brothers. Now, all we have to work on is him sharing his trains with these two younger guys!

With time approaching so quickly and us having two birthdays, plus Christmas arriving at the same time as this little man, I have realized we need to get a jump on picking up items we will need for him. We hadn't planned on having any more and had just given away a majority of the items we had from Chunk, so we will be repurchasing quite a few baby items. The good thing about it is by the time the third baby comes along, you know what you really "need" and the items you never used and probably never will. Either way buying baby stuff again is exciting!

Sew is your Baby cloth diaper Review & Giveaway

Sew is your Baby Cloth Diaper
Review & Giveaway

I've added quite a few diapers to my stash lately, and this diaper from Sew is Your baby is one of our favorites.
I am excited to share my thoughts with you on this diaper!

What Diaper: I received the Purple Hieroglyphics Minky Cloth Diaper
for review, It is a One Size Pocket diaper.

The Fit: I really like the way this diaper fits, We had a blow out earlier this week in this one, and No leaks where I would have had with a disposable, and some of my other CD's. I love the crossover tabs, that is a MUST with us, otherwise they just don't fit right on Chunk.

Print: I liked the print ok, I am not a fan of purple on boys, or mine anyway. I guess I think of Purple as a girl's color, but that is probably me just being weird. Other than the color the print was cute.

Leaks: No leaks yet, and it has been in rotation for over a month now! We have used it as a naptime diaper, but not as an overnight diaper yet. It held up great through naptime, and It was a longer nap(3 hours) and he didn't leak.

Cost: Sew is your Baby diapers are fairly cheap, they run about $13-$14, depending on whether or not you want minky or silky, this price includes one insert. They also have gift sets which include diapers, wet bags, leg warmers, detergent and flannel wipes, again prices depend on what package you choose, but all are reasonably priced!

On the scale of 1-5:
Fit: 5/5
Print: 2/5
Leaks:4/5
Cost: 4/5
Overall: 4/5
I would recommend this diaper to anyone using One size or Pockets, they have many colors and prints!

Bummas Cloth wipes review & Giveaway

I've said it before and I will say it again...In my opinion switching to Cloth Wipes is a bit more of a challenge than switching to Cloth Diapers. I'm not sure what it is, but it just wasn't something I was excited to do, but yet again, Chunk's skin made me realize it was a must. When I got the chance to try Bumma's, I was extremely interested, after all, they aren't just for Cloth diapering!
That's right! They can be used for disposable diapered babies to just "freshen" them up, and clean up what the disposable wipes leave behind.
Some other great uses for Bummas:
*To Cover your little guy's stream during diaper changes
*Dry baby completely after a changing, so no moisture when you put their diapers back on
*As a Burp cloth during feedings
*Washcloths for the bath
*Bummas are also soft enough to be used to wipe noses.

One of my favorite things about Bummas is that it has two textures on each side. One side is rougher(but still so soft) and it works well to get stuck on stuff off their little bottoms or body, while the softer side works well to wipe clean.

Bummas comes in A couple different color sets. I tried the Wild Ones, which is one of every color, A great variety of colors!
