We bought our house a year ago this month and slowly have started adding our own little touches to it! We know that some areas are going to have to be fixed up, but they are big projects and its just cosmetic fix-ups but they are pretty large ones that will have to wait. I've known I want to do something with the inside of the cabinets, but wasn't sure what. I thought about chalkboards or dry erase boards, but then realized that could be bulky and unattractive. While researching ideas, I stumbled upon Idea Paint, paint that lets you turn any surface into a dry erase board. Sounded like the perfect solution for my cabinets. I was sent a sample of Idea Paint to review and got to work.
The kit comes with everything you'll need included, and the directions were great and easy to follow. The application of the paint was simple as well, went on quickly, the longest part was waiting the 7 days before writing on it. I have a problem with seeing dry erase boards and wanting to write on them, its just so fun to me, I blame it on high school locker breaks and everyone leaving messages. After the 7 days though, its good to write as much as you please. Then just Wipe it off and write again! The Only negative thing was how smelly the paint it, it warns you it is very strong, and it doesn't lie. I had the windows and doors opened as well as fans going and it was breathtaking for a while. Luckily, I wasn't doing a large area, or I'd have needed a break.
